THE MOST POPULAR COMPETITIONS IN FLYSPOT
Known and loved by you Flyspot Paulove Scramble is the largest cyclic competition in 4-way and 2-way FS, available to virtually everyone. In 2024, the Scramble will traditionally be held in Warsaw and Katowice. You are welcome to compete in the 2-way and 4-way categories. Minimum experience: flown 1 h in the tunnel. You don’t have to have your own team, we will help you assemble it from passionate people like you with similar skills. You don’t need to have a lot of experience in 4-way or 2-way, either, because Scrambles are there for anyone to feel the excitement of competitive sports.
What does it consist of?
– The Flyspot Paulove Scramble consists of 6 rounds: 5 x 4-way/ 2 way + 1 technical round, which is designed to develop and improve cooperation skills between players, and the exercises performed during this round are elements of blocks (FS-4 AAA). All technical rounds for the 4-way category are published in pdf files, downloadable HERE, and competitors can practice them in advance. However, for the 2-way category, the technical round is unchanged and consists of making a figure eight between two sashes.
– We start each event with a briefing at 6:45 pm for captains and at 7 pm for all competitors, and at 8 pm we start the big flying. Each team will spend at least 10 minutes in the tunnel!
Rules:
– Round 2 will be drawn from among 16 randoms (three random figures from A to Q) during the briefing before the competition
– Rounds 3, 4 and 5 will also be drawn at the briefing. To arrange these rounds will be considered 4 -way: 16 random figures (A-Q) and 8 blocks (1,2,6,7,9,13,14,21), 2-way: 16 blocks. These rounds will consist of 1 drawn random and one block.
– All figures according to FAI rules. It is not allowed to make blocks in 3D. For 4-way, alternative figures and mirror images are allowed (FAI rules do not consider point/OC/IC/tail positions).
– Important: the ability to move freely in FS 4-way or 2-way is required to participate in the competition! Knowledge of “divepool” is not essential, but it will certainly provide an advantage.
– You should have a suit for RW with grips (single ones are sufficient) on the shoulders and thighs (external). Boots are not necessary. Competitors who do not have a suit for RW (also having a suit for free) cannot compete in the FS-4 competition (even if they meet the other requirements) and are automatically assigned to the FS-2 competition (where the lack of grips is not an obstacle). Competitors who do not have their own suits have the option of renting beginner suits from Flyspot). In addition, goggles, goggles or helmet lenses required to allow visual contact in the tunnel
