A solid foundation is essential – that’s why it’s a good idea to start your wind tunnel adventure just with balance-based classes. They help build basic skills and accelerate later development in individual training.

Why is it worth it?

These classes were created to literally make friends with the air. Using softer wind streams, we can precisely feel their effect on the surface of our bodies. We discover a new and fascinating environment and let our body find itself in it. The techniques developed will make it possible to move comfortably in the new environment. At each stage of flying we gain experience and learn new things. It is worth taking the time to understand how to direct your body in a new position! Certainly, there is something of interest for everyone at these activities. 🙂

During the workshop there are three participants and an instructor in the tunnel. This allows us to fly more for less!

How to sign up?

The Balance Workshop is an original class created by the @wpadnijpolatac team and led by Flyspot instructor Kasia Bereska. They were first organized by Magdalena Olszewska at Flyspot Warsaw in November 2021 and have been immensely popular since their inception.

Frequently asked questions

I have never flown in a tunnel. Are these activities for me?

These classes are designed for beginners and advanced students. The exercises are tailored to the level of the group. There is something for everyone at all levels.

How many people are in the group?

There are 3 people in the group plus an instructor.

Are the classes recurring or one-time?

Classes are held periodically.

How to sign up?

Is it worthwhile to prepare somehow for activities outside the tunnel?

The tool we use to fly is our body. If we have good motor skills, coordination, and a sense of our bodies, progress will be faster. It is good to do other activities besides flying.

How are group classes different from 1:1 classes?

In group classes, we share time with other participants so that we can spend more time in the tunnel for the same price. This is a good way to learn new elements and improve previously acquired skills. However, this is not a substitute for 1:1 training, as there are figures that are safest to attempt with more space in the tunnel and when the instructor's attention is focused on only one person.

What should you bring to class?

If you have your helmet and coveralls bring them with you. Let's also remember to wear comfortable athletic shoes. If you do not have your own suit wear comfortable clothes, over them you will wear the suit rented from us.

Is it necessary to have your own helmet and suit?

It is worth having your own helmet and suit. However, it is also possible to rent equipment on site.

What shoes to wear?

It is best to have athletic shoes with flat soles.

How are people selected for the group?

Individuals in the group selected on the basis of ability and size. 😉

Is it possible to get footage of the tunnel?

Video of the class is available for download.

How long do the classes last? How many entrances and how much time each?

One group goes in for three sessions of 5 minutes each. The entire class lasts 1-1.5 h. It is possible to sign up for more than one slot.
